LATINA at Makerere
October 3, 2010
On October 1-3, 2010, the EdLib project arranged a three day workshop (picture) for ten librarians and library teachers from Southern Sudan.
Robert Kayaki (EASLIS) helps Abda (left) and Wilma (right). My co-trainer, Gudula Basaza, stands in the back.
The program dealt with pedagogical theory, digital teaching tools and on-line learning. The participants came from the University of Juba, The University of Bahr El Ghazal (Wau) and the University of Upper Nile (Malakal).
In 2011, Makerere University Library will host the first LATINA course on e-learning and digital libraries in Africa.
